Finest silver particles help against many complaints

From our series: Colloidal metals

For many years, natural medicine has known colloidal silver as a helpful remedy against bacteria and fungi. Colloidal silver has many positive properties: it acts like a natural antibiotic and can be used in many ways.

What is colloidal silver?

The genuine colloidal silver from Trimedea consists of very fine silver particles that float in water and do not form a compound with the water – in contrast to ionic silver solutions. The size of the individual particles lies between 1 and 20 nanometres (1 nm = one billionth of a metre). This liquid dispersion is also referred to as silver water. The particles can arise through various manufacturing processes, which depending on the process have a considerable influence on the properties and quality.

Advantages of colloidal silver

• Germ-killing effect

• Inhibits inflammation and infections

• Supports the formation of the body’s own stem cells

• Accelerates cell repair processes

Areas of application for colloidal silver

• Colds

• Inflammation (internal and external)

• Open and poorly healing wounds, abrasions, burns

• Skin diseases: acne, impure skin, neurodermatitis, warts, psoriasis

• Respiratory diseases

• Fungal infections

• Joint pain, rheumatism

Known and proven for decades

Even in antiquity silver was used for disinfection and wound treatment. Colloidal silver was developed around 1900 and was mostly used orally to combat infections. After the boom of antibiotics the remedy initially fell into oblivion. Yet with growing scepticism about the effectiveness of antibiotics, more and more people are discovering the advantages of colloidal silver.

Note on purchasing colloidal silver

It depends on the manufacturing process

With the high-voltage plasma process, when applied correctly, one achieves the best possible quality of the colloids: smallest particle size, highest energy content, long shelf life, suspended state. It is more effective, richer in energy and more durable, has fewer deposits and is free from overdosing.

Colloidal silver that is produced using the high-voltage plasma process does not lead even at higher concentrations to the notorious argyria, the blue discolouration of the skin and mucous membranes. This is because the colloidal particles float, repel each other, do not deposit and do not form compounds with other substances, in contrast to ionic silver solutions. They are simply excreted via the urine. Only through the intake of silver compounds (e.g. electrolysis with impure water) or pure silver powder can the well-known “silver poisonings” occur. The body cannot utilise or excrete this silver or the silver compounds (silver salts) and stores them in the tissue as a protective measure.
